Construction Manager

Requirements:
- Diploma, Degree, or Master’s in Civil Engineering (or related field).
- Must possess a valid CIDB Green Card.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in construction and site management.
- Reliable, well-organized, and able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong proficiency in spoken and written English; knowledge of local dialects is an added advantage.
- Excellent ability to liaise and coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and local authorities.
- Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Project (or similar project management software).
Responsibility:
- Supervise and coordinate all interior construction works, including partitioning, ceiling,carpentry, wet works, and other related activities.
- Monitor daily work progress, material consumption, and manpower allocation to ensure project efficiency.
- Liaise closely with clients, consultants, interior designers, contractors, and vendors to maintain clear communication and alignment with project specifications and goals.
- Conduct regular site meetings, inspections, and quality control checks to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site reports, documenting progress and addressing any on-site issues promptly.
- Perform routine site visits to monitor site activities, ensuring adherence to design requirements, quality assurance, and safety regulations.
- Assist in developing and maintaining the project schedule using tools such as Microsoft Project.
- Review, interpret, and coordinate construction drawings using AutoCAD to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and compliance with design, quality, and safety requirements.
- Track progress against the master schedule and identify potential risks or delays, providing solutions to mitigate impact.
- Support final inspections, testing, and commissioning, as well as handover procedures with clients and consultants.
- Ensure strict compliance with local authority regulations, legal requirements, and industry standards throughout the project.
- Monitor and control project expenditures against the approved budget, preparing cost and progress reports for management or client review.
- Develop, update, and maintain all necessary project documentation, including drawings, reports, permits, approvals, and handover files.
- Act as the main liaison between the client, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal management to resolve issues and ensure project success
