**ROLE DESCRIPTION**
This is a full-time, on-site role for Social Media Project Management Lead (Digital Content Development) at Pali Pali Trading Sdn Bhd, based in Kuala Lumpur. You’ll play a pivotal role in ideating, planning, and executing engaging content strategies that bring the world of 3D printing closer to consumers, hobbyists, and industrial users alike. You’ll combine creativity, trend-awareness, and analytical skills to ensure our content not only resonates but performs across platforms.
- Work closely with the Creative Director to plan, develop and execute social media strategies that align with brand goals and campaign objectives.
- Create and manage monthly and weekly tailored content calendars across assigned social media platforms.
- Oversee daily interactions with followers [replying comments, DMs, mentions] to maintain a strong, engaging brand voice and monitor conversations to identify content opportunities.
- Plan and coordinate the social media posting and promotion across platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook), including scripting, technical setup and engagement strategy to drive viewership and interaction
- Use analytics tools (eg. Hootsuite, Meltwater) to track performance, gather insights and produce reports - then optimize content accordingly.
- Support in sourcing, liaising and maintaining relationships with content creators including preparing brief, scheduling and performance tracking.
- Ideate and collaborate with designers to produce static and interactive content.
- Study on the latest social and cultural trends, platform updates and viral formats to strategize and craft content to the fullest.
- Ensure adherence to the compliance of company policies, industry regulations and legal requirements.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Trend & Insight Monitoring**
- Constantly research and monitor viral trends, 3D printing communities, tech innovations, pop culture, and industry events to spot opportunities for relevant content.
- Identify and capitalize on emerging topics (e.g. trending materials, new printer releases, industry milestones, key dates) to keep our brand conversations timely and engaging.
**Content Planning & Ideation**
- Develop monthly content themes aligned with business goals, seasonal trends, and product launches.
- Create and manage a robust content calendar covering social media, campaigns, product launches, and brand storytelling.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate social media plans into broader marketing strategies.
**Content Briefing & Copywriting**
- Prepare comprehensive content briefs for video and photo with the creative team with clear messaging and objectives.
- Write compelling copy with storyboarding for social media posts, product videos, captions, and digital content tailored to various platforms.
- Assist in scriptwriting for video productions and live sessions.
**Performance Analysis & Optimization**
- Analyze the performance of social media content using metrics and analytics tools.
- Generate reports with actionable insights to optimize future content strategies and boost engagement.
- Continuously iterate on content ideas based on data-driven findings.
**Collaboration & Project Management**
- Coordinate projects with designers, videographers, and marketing colleagues to ensure on-time and on-trend quality content delivery.
- Manage multiple campaigns simultaneously while maintaining high standards of execution.
**On-Camera Talent (Preferred but not mandatory)**
- Act as an engaging on-screen talent for social media content, live demos, unboxings, or educational videos when needed.
- Represent the brand with authenticity and enthusiasm, especially in technical explainer videos or product showcases.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
At least 3-5 years of experience in social media management, digital content creation, digital marketing, or a related field.
Passion for social media trends, digital storytelling, and emerging technologies.
Strong creative thinking and ideation skills with a proactive mindset.
Excellent writing skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences. (Formal and Casual Format)
Strong understanding and skills in multimedia content (both static and video for social media), as well as a good grasp of the creative direction process.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
