The Junior Sous Chef is responsible for supporting the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen and ensuring that high-quality cuisine is produced consistently. The Junior Sous Chef works closely with the kitchen staff to assist in food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation.
- Assist the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation.
- Help maintain high standards of quality and presentation for all dishes served in the restaurant.
- Assist in training and supervising junior kitchen staff, including line cooks and prep cooks, to ensure that all food is prepared correctly and efficiently.
- Participate in food preparation and cooking as needed.
- Assist in managing food inventory, ordering supplies as needed, and controlling food waste to minimize costs.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and repaired as needed.
- Help implement and enforce food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house staff to ensure smooth and seamless service, including timely delivery of food to the dining room.
- Assist in menu planning, costing, and staff training.
- Maintain a positive and supportive work environment for kitchen staff.
- Fill in for the Sous Chef or Executive Chef as needed in their absence.

**Salary**: RM4,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
