**Position Summary**:
Responsible for facilities changes for plant, office, and production equipment layouts, working toward economy of operation, maximum use of facilities and equipment, and compliance with laws and regulations. Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings. Provide consultation to management and users on any requisitions of re-layout office, machinery, utilities, and industrial engineering related matters. Inspects construction and installation progress for conformance specifications required to meet operating requirements and safety codes.

**What You Will Do**:

- Buy-off all re-layouts, industrial engineering & design related projects and activities prior to any awarding and commencement of job.
- Coordinate and supervise all company’s industrial engineering and facilities projects, set-ups, re-layouts, and related activities.
- Work closely with Facilities, EHS, IT, and all relevant departments in the new set-ups of offices, machinery, and other utilities and to ensure both internal and external requirements are complied with.
- Coordinate with external product and service providers in the regards to supplies, transport, installation and commission of new set-ups, machinery, and equipments and utilities installations.
- Conduct regular studies on existing layouts and set-ups and ready with plans in the optimization of space and capacity utilization.
- Ensure company’s internal and external building layouts plans are updated, documented and readily available in both hard and soft copies of reference, inspection and audit.
- Establish operating procedures and guidelines on existing and new set-ups, re-layout and industrial engineering related projects and activities. Review and update these documentations on regular basis and/or as and when required.
- Established yearly maintenance budget and manage the spending to within the targeted budget.
- Established yearly preventive / predictive maintenance schedule and manage the maintenance activities.
- Facilities equipment capacity study monitoring of utilities consumptions & develop plan to increase the tool by upgrading of tools.
- Manage contractor for the contracted services and update the KPI.
- Second lead to Project Manager for all facility / hook up work of new tools, new layouts to improve process flows and space management.
- Basic design of electrical distribution circuit to better manage loan balancing
- Accountable for meeting Energy Commission guidelines for electrical safety and protection.
- Support mechanical installations in Facilities.
- Spending controls to meet Department goals on budget.
- Complies with environment, security, health and safety requirements.

- AO to BO Qualified
- HT / LT Chargeman competency is an added advantage.
- Able to work independently and possess high sense of responsibilities.
