WE ARE LOOKING FOR.....

Contract Management of both 3rd party vendor and internal (Business Unit to Business Unit) contracts.

This includes tasks and activities relating to contracting strategy, contract set up and the ongoing management and administration of contracts to drive increased value from vendors and a reduction in risk.
- Follow the Group Technology IT Contract Management Guidelines including associated process flows for all new and existing contracts. Key responsibilities include:

- Advise on overall contracting strategy to meet business objectives;
- Lead contract negotiations with external vendors - including coordination of internal cross functional teams;
- Lead the renewal and updates for third-party and AIA Intra-Group master services agreements and statements for work;
- Contract reviews;
- Contract drafting;
- Develop contract documents such as contract templates;
- Vendor evaluation during the competitive bidding process
- Contract execution;
- Commercial and Contractual risk identification and management
- Contract change management;
- Correspond with vendors in regards relationship and contract matters;
- Form strong relationships and drive adherence to process and policies with cross functional teams and Business Units in both pre-contract and post contract activities;
- Manage contract renewals and terminations;
- Advise stakeholders on contract questions and interpretation;
- Coordinate and participate in Governance and Review Meetings;
- Dispute management and resolution;
- Manage the administration and database of legal contracts between Group Technology and external vendors to ensure legal contracts are available and up-to-date
- Develop and advise stakeholders on best practice processes, templates and guidance documents
- Drive continuous improvement in managing both contracts and vendors

Job Requirements:

- University graduate in related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
- Experience in a vendor or contract management or Procurement functions, preferably in the IT sector
- Experience in the life insurance industry an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in dynamic environment
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Detail oriented
- Commercial focus and understanding of commercial constructs
- Ability to understand contract and legal principles
- Project delivery focus
- Ability to manage cross functional teams
