**Responsibilities**:

- To liaise with the local authority (especially DOSH) on matters concerning:
(i) Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) 1994 and its Regulations.

(ii) Factories and Machineries Act / FMA 1967 and its Regulations.
- To liaise and coordinate with regulatory bodies i.e., Department of Environment (DOE), Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), BOMBA, etc.
- To ensure all responsibilities discharge on day to day work in accordance to company SOP.
- To conduct inspection at the workplace and to investigate, make reports and recommendations on safety related matters.
- To follow-up to assist in timely submission of all Health, Safety, Risk Management & 5S related corporate reports.
- To support implementation of policies, systems and procedures necessary to maintain legislative compliance, adhere to corporate standards, achieve periodic goals, and continuously move toward best practices.
- To coordinate Personal Protective Equipment in the plants and make recommendations to the management.
- Shall take additional responsibility as instructed by the immediate superior.
- The scope of authority shall refer to the selected work process procedure/ instruction.
- To carrying out the respective duties under the Act or any regulations made under the Act.
- To develop a proposed Health, Safety, Risk Management & 5S budget for the organization.

**Job Requirements**
- Registered and certified SHO with DOSH (Green book holder).
- Degree / Diploma holder with any related field of study equivalent from reputable universities.
- Good command of English & Malay (spoken and written).
- Possess basic computer skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Word, Power point).
- Results oriented, strong follow up and good negotiation skills.
- Pleasant personality and able to interact all level of people.
- Have a good working knowledge of Risk Management elements (i.e. Environment, Health, Safety, Risk / Crisis Management and 5S).
