**Job Purpose**

Oversee the department’s operation processes compliance and risk management.

**Responsibilities**
- Implement and drive effective compliance and operation risk control framework within the department in line with Policies and Guidelines from Bank Negara Malaysia, Head Offices and the Bank.
- Coordinate, compile, review and obtain approvals for all relevant Regulators, Head Offices and Bank regulatory compliance, operational risk and control management reports and surveys prior to submissions.
- Coordination of creation of effective root cause analysis and preventive action plans in response to audit findings and operational events.
- Periodically perform 1.5 line of defense independent check and assessment on department processes and documents to identify potential gap, weaknesses or risk.
- Ensure periodical review and update on Business Continuity Management (“BCM”) requirements for the department.
- Coordinate Business Continuity Plan (“BCP”) /Disaster Recovery (“DR”) drills or exercises, and compilation of relevant BCP and DR reports for the department.
- Assist department management and operation teams on the compliance, operational risk and business continuity management related matters.
- Perform any other operation support functions as assigned by Management from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Banking and Finance or other relevant disciplines on operational management.
- 3 to 5 years of working experience in banking operations, preferably with 1 to 3 years involvement in compliance/risk control related role and responsibilities.
- Attentive to details, determined and committed to work;
- Willing to learn and endure new challenges at work.
- Possess the relevant knowledge on the regulatory requirements/ guidelines and risk management in relation to the banking operations;
- Strong organizational and planning skills;
- Good command in both oral and written communication skills;
- Computer literate with good competency in Microsoft Office, i.e. Microsoft Words, Excel and PowerPoint.

**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month

- Monday to Friday
