**Job Description**:
The primary duty of the Continuous Improvement Manager is to achieve critical plant objectives known as Compelling Business Needs (CBN). These objectives encompass ensuring safety with zero accidents, eliminating quality losses, reducing costs, enhancing efficiency, achieving a 100% Customer Service Level, and attaining full engagement. This is accomplished through the utilization of the Manufacturing Operating System (MOS) program as a facilitator.

Your responsibilities will involve formulating and executing the MOS roadmap for the plant, which builds upon the established MOS program standards. Furthermore, you will oversee the advancement of the Manufacturing Operating System and the skill sets of plant associates. This involves collaborating with Human Resources to devise an approach aligned with JDE Learning & Development methodology.

Within this capacity, a significant emphasis will be placed on nurturing specific Leadership Capabilities to drive personal growth and success.

**Leadership**:

- Exemplifies and guides the implementation of the Manufacturing Operating System - MOS, actively involved in its rollout and enhancement, leading the Fundamental Pillar through a hands-on approach.
- Achieves exceptional outcomes within the domain through inspirational leadership and coaching, cultivating an engaged culture, and fostering skill development.
- Puts a significant emphasis on nurturing people, providing training, coaching, and consistently enhancing Continuous Improvement proficiency and engagement in the plant, fueled by a practical mindset.
- Forges a robust collaboration with the Global Pillar to ensure consistent development and execution of the Manufacturing Operating System.
- Functions as a pivotal link between the Management Team of the plant, ensuring seamless integration and execution of the Manufacturing Operating System - MOS program.
- Spearheads a dedicated project aimed at reducing losses (exemplifying Continuous Improvement execution).
- Actively drives forward-looking benchmarking endeavors with both internal and external Continuous Improvement managers, driving the creation of best practices.

**Delivery & Cost**:

- Demonstrates a clear grasp of costs and performance benchmarks, taking accountability for delivering the Annual Operations Plan (AOP) and ultimately achieving the Value Creation Plan (VCP).
- Crafts a comprehensive Manufacturing Operating System - MOS implementation strategy, aligned with the plant's Compelling Business Need (CBN), placing utmost emphasis on defect-free outcomes, eliminating losses, and nurturing a culture of complete engagement. This strategy seamlessly aligns with the established JDE Manufacturing Operating System - MOS roadmap.
- Executes the standardized Manufacturing Operating System - MOS Continuous Improvement program, including pillar structure and associated competencies.
- Takes ownership of the daily Operations Performance meetings Structure (OPS), fundamental problem-solving tools (Root Cause Analysis, Kaizen, Single Minute Exchange of Dies - SMED, 6Sigma), and 5S practices.
- Keeps a vigilant eye on essential key performance indicators within the domain, proactively monitoring and following up on progress.
- Offers robust support for initiatives focused on cost reduction and efficiency enhancement.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date information within tracking and reporting systems.
