About the Role

Oversight Investment Services backfill staff at AIA Shared Services during the project period to support parallel run of AIA Investment existing and new system in accordance to requirements of AIA Investment Services Pte Ltd (“AIAIM”) and project timeline. This role is crucial in implementing AIAIM’s operational strategies that enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.- Operational Oversight:
- Manage and optimize day-to-day operations across Investment Services functions, including trade processing, confirmation and settlement, corporate actions, reconciliation, recording keeping for trades managed by External Fund Managers in AIA systems etc. as AIAIM Investment Services’ backfill.- Manage relationships with AIA-related and third-party outsourced providers and vendors. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess performance and hold third party providers and vendors accountable for quality and performance standards within established service-level agreements and SOWs..- Participate and/or lead structured delivery and other initiatives- Administrative support to the Head of Investment Services and Section Head of Securities Services in AIA Investment Services Pte Ltd in Singapore such as developing department budgets and monitoring budgets against actuals, quarterly KPI reporting for Investment Services teams, BCP update, outsourcing due diligence, assisting with approvals of various systems setup etc.- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing backfill team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.- Set clear performance goals, provide regular feedback, and training for team members.- Maintain strong relationships with New Star key stakeholders, vendors, across different departments and entities within AIA.- Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure backfill staff are working in accordance to relevant AIA Group Standards and AIAIM Policies and Procedures- Oversee the implementation risk incur from New Star and mitigate operational and financial risks to AIAIM and its clients.- Operational Oversight:

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field; Advanced degree is an advantage- Extensive experience (20+ years) in investment middle office and operations within the asset management industry, with a proven track record of success.- Strong understanding of investment operations, regulatory requirements, and risk management.- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on building and nurturing high-performing teams.- Proficient in investment systems such as Aladdin, eFRONT, Eagle IBOR, Bloomberg AIM, CitiDirect, HSBCNet,
