- **Key Responsibilities**_

**Import Operations**
- Handle import documentation (Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, Bill of Lading, etc.).
- Liaise with customs officers and freight forwarders to ensure timely clearance and delivery to the factory.

**Export Operations**
- Arrange customs declarations and container scheduling based on delivery timelines.

**Cross-functional Coordination**
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, procurement, and warehouse teams.
- Monitor shipment status and promptly resolve any customs or transportation issues.

**System Updates & Reporting**
- Maintain accurate import/export transaction records, HS Code details, and customs documentation.
- Generate and submit regular import/export reports to management and relevant authorities (e.g., MITI, MIDA).

**Compliance & Regulatory Affairs**
- Ensure full compliance with Malaysian customs laws, LMW regulations, and trade agreements (FTAs).
- Liaise effectively with government authorities such as Royal Malaysian Customs, MITI, MAQIS, etc.
- **Requirements**_

**Education**
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, Business Administration, or related fields.

**Experience**
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, with at least 3 years in import/export operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in handling customs documentation and duty exemptions for LMW-licensed factories is a strong advantage.

**Skills**
- Proficient in Malaysian trade systems: _ePermit, DagangNet, eDeclare, MIDA Portal_.
- Solid understanding of international trade terms (Incoterms), HS Code classification, and COO processes.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage multiple stakeholders.
- **Excellent command of English (spoken and written) is required.**:

- Proficient in **Microsoft Office** (especially Excel) and ERP systems such as **SAP** or **Oracle**.

**Preferred**
- Ability to communicate in **Mandarin (spoken and written)** is an added advantage for liaising with Chinese suppliers.
- Certification in import/export or trade compliance (e.g., MIEx or related) is a plus.
- Familiarity with CJ5/CJ5A exemption processes and ISO documentation requirements (e.g., ISO 9001).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 36 months

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
