All parts of the Global Risk team use their skills, insight and integrity to handle established threats and those they see emerging, acting to protect and enable HSBC to deliver sustainable growth.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team as **Assistant Manager Database Management and Reporting.**

**Principal Responsibilities**:

- The incumbent is responsible for the followings as well assisting the credit policy and acquisition manager across all WPB Risk:

- Responsible for weekly/monthly reconciliation and reporting.
- Prepare periodic Risk Dashboard for management review.
- Prepare quarterly Connected Parties Exposure reporting for BNM and Board/CPTC approval.
- Contribute in maintain a robust and efficient control environment across the function to ensure good operational, financial and compliance with HSBC policy and procedures.
- Preparation of Personal Financial Services portfolio credit/risk MIS and analytics for local Management and Group Office.
- Credit Risk Triggers monitoring - undertakes monthly review of credit risk triggers.
- To provide information on the Retail portfolio as required by MYH stakeholder, senior management & other Credit & Risk departments.
- Build Collaboration.
- Actively support a strong risk management culture in the Business that promotes good analysis, judgment, flexibility and balance between risk and reward.
- Thorough understanding of fundamentals relevant to role.
Requirements

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and possessing two to five years of relevant experience in retail business banking.
- Detailed understanding of end to end credit cycle and appreciation of credit risk issues throughout the portfolio lifecycle,
- Database software user with advanced skills in Excel, SQL, SAS, Python and able to handle and manage large volumes of data.
- The ability to communicate effectively and elaborate on findings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to articulate the case for risk management in the language of business.
- Strong analytical ability to understand and resolve complex issues.
- Demonstrated ability to assess Risk trends, both internally and externally.
