Maxis' Professional Training and Education for Growing Entrepreneurs (PROTÉGÉ) programme is our commitment to helping young Malaysian talents and our nation to always be ahead and to add value to the national economy. We are offering an opportunity for you to be part of the PROTÉGÉ programme at Maxis, which aims to develop and guide you with necessary skills and experience to get ahead in this ever changing world. The programme will be for 12 months and will have a combination of intensive soft skill classroom training and on-the-job training opportunities. You will learn practical skills and real-life experiences at Maxis that will help guide you towards a successful future.

This position supports the billing and collection activities for the customer's project by ensuring accurate validation of billing documents, timely invoice submission, proper SLA rebate processing, and coordination with internal teams and customer representatives for smooth payment and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate the Surat Setuju Terima (SST) against the Awarded List to ensure matching of total no of service, technology, and pricing for each customer's site.
  • Upload validated Maxis invoices into the E-Perolehan Portal for payment processing.
  • Follow up with the Project Manager (PM) and Delivery Manager (DM) for completion and sign-off of SAP/SPP documents by the designated PIC.
  • Receive SLA Rebates report from Service Manager and obtain Head of Service Management approval for applicable SLA Rebates for each site.
  • Create CSM Cases to the Enterprise Dispute team for SLA Rebates to be inserted into Kenan for each site.
  • Create CSM Cases for the issuance of manual invoices to customer's PIC upon validation by Collection team.
  • Obtain account reconciliation report from collection officer, and ensure all payments are in accordance to Surat Setuju Terima (SST).
  • Liaise with customer's person-in-charge (PIC) at all locations for billing related matters.
  • Follow-up with customer's PIC for payment.

Preferred Qualification & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in billing, accounts reconciliation, or a similar field, preferably in the telecommunications or utilities industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Preference will be given to graduates with no prior working experience and who are currently unemployed
