System Reliability Engineer – Job Scope

You will oversee the health, stability and performance of our platform. Your work keeps the system reliable for all users, and you will solve problems before they affect clients. The role mixes monitoring, troubleshooting, optimisation and planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Watch system performance across all services and environments, and act quickly when you see anomalies.
  • Set up and maintain alerts, dashboards and logs that help detect problems early.
  • Analyse root causes of incidents, drive permanent fixes and prevent repeat issues.
  • Improve system uptime, availability and response time through tuning and optimisation.
  • Work with engineering to design systems that can scale and stay stable during high load.
  • Oversee deployment health, rollout safety checks and rollback procedures.
  • Maintain disaster recovery steps and ensure backups are complete and usable.
  • Review infrastructure cost vs reliability trade-offs and suggest improvements.
  • Test failover scenarios, load behaviour and weak points in architecture.
  • Document reliability standards, incident reports and operational guides.
  • Support on-call rotation with clear communication during outages.
  • Work with developers to adopt better observability, logging and error-handling practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5, RM9,537.83 per month
