About the role

We are seeking a QAQC Senior Executive / Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at Ohta Precision (M) Sdn Bhd in Kajang, Selangor. This is a full-time position that will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards of quality assurance and control across our manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive quality control systems and procedures
  • Overseeing the inspection and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Identifying and resolving quality issues, and implementing corrective and preventative actions
  • Conducting regular audits and providing detailed reports on quality performance
  • Training and mentoring junior quality assurance personnel
  • Collaborating with production, engineering and procurement teams to drive continuous improvement
  • Ensuring the company adheres to all relevant quality regulations and industry best practices

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years' experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
  • Strong technical understanding of quality control processes, tools and techniques
  • Proven ability to analyse complex data, interpret results and implement effective quality improvement measures
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and critical thinking skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficient in the use of quality management software and data analysis tools
  • Degree or diploma in Quality Assurance, Engineering or a related technical field
