Responsibilities:

  1. Gather and analyze market intelligence to identify opportunities, customer needs, and emerging trends.
  2. Create and manage effective product strategies, roadmaps, and structures to drive business growth and market competitiveness.
  3. Conduct competitive research and win/loss analyses to strengthen product positioning and identify key improvement areas.
  4. Manage stock levels strategically to ensure consistent product availability — the right items, in the right quantity, at the right time.
  5. Develop clear and detailed customer and buyer personas to guide targeted marketing and product strategies.
  6. Implement initiatives to reduce slow-moving or end-of-life inventory, optimizing product turnover and stock efficiency.
  7. Consolidate and synthesize input from internal and external stakeholders to prioritize product features and initiatives effectively.
  8. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Warehouse, and Procurement teams to align product strategies and ensure smooth delivery to customers.
  9. Support the development of sales and marketing tools, training materials, and product presentations to empower the sales team.
  10. Track and evaluate product and marketing performance against monthly KPIs and activity plans, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  11. Provide monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  12. Understand the end-to-end supply chain process and collaborate closely with all stakeholders involved in the trading and distribution cycle.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must possess or currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Marketing/ Statistics /Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Internship position for duration of three (3) months or more
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Ability to multitask & team player
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and creative thinker with a good understanding of market trends.
  • A proactive team player who can collaborate across departments and manage multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools, data analysis, or product management will be an added advantage.
