About the role

We are seeking a talented Product Material Control Executive to join our team in Kuala Ketil, Kedah. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in managing the production planning and scheduling for our manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products to customers
  2. Monitor and analyse inventory levels, identify supply chain bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimise material flow
  3. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production planning, materials management, and quality control
  4. Assist in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational efficiency

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar production planning or materials control role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
  2. Diploma or degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
  3. Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage in order to communicate effectively with Chinese customers
  4. Familiarity with quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies
  5. Strong understanding of production planning and scheduling principles, inventory management, and supply chain logistics
