Production Executive

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Production Operations

  • Oversee end-to-end seafood processing activities including receiving, sorting, cutting, packing, labelling and dispatching.
  • Monitor production workflow to ensure smooth, timely and efficient operations throughout all processing stages.
  • Ensure optimal utilisation of machinery, tools and cold-room facilities to support daily production targets.

2. Food Safety, Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure all production activities comply with HACCP, GMP, Halal, and internal food safety standards.
  • Maintain high hygiene and sanitation practices within processing areas, including equipment, workstations and cold storage rooms.
  • Work closely with the QA team to resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions and reduce non-conformance.

3. Manpower Supervision & Training

  • Plan daily manpower deployment and coordinate work assignments for production staff.
  • Provide on-the-job training to ensure staff follow SOPs, safety rules, and quality requirements.
  • Monitor employee performance, discipline and productivity, escalating issues to management when necessary.

4. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with the QA, Cold Room, Logistics and Maintenance teams to support smooth production flow.
  • Report equipment breakdowns, stock shortages or operational disruptions promptly to relevant departments.
  • Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure adequate supply of raw materials and packaging items.

5. Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare daily production reports including output, waste, yield and manpower utilisation.
  • Monitor production efficiency and highlight variances or abnormal patterns.
  • Maintain accurate records for traceability, audit requirements and internal analysis.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Fisheries, Manufacturing, or related fields.
  • Experience in seafood processing, FMCG, cold room, or food production environment is an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of HACCP, GMP, Halal and food safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to work in cold-room or wet-production environment when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
