About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical support, perform application analysis, and ensure the stability and efficiency of system operations. You will play a key part in enhancing customer satisfaction, supporting deployment projects, and driving continuous improvement across our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance customer service delivery through proactive engagement and contribute to the company's organic business growth.
  • Provide technical and application support to ensure stable, reliable, and high-performing system operations.
  • Conduct regular system maintenance and implement performance enhancements to optimize functionality.
  • Manage customer expectations effectively, escalating complex issues to the appropriate teams for timely resolution.
  • Respond to help desk inquiries, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software-related problems.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, assist with system configurations, and support testing and deployment activities.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Support or Application Support roles.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and a strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Java, Linux CentOS, and web servers such as Nginx, Tomcat, or Apache is an advantage.
  • Experience in log analysis and root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with database systems.
  • Understanding of the securities, trading, or financial services industry is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4, RM6,000.00 per month
