Job Description / Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Handle full sets of accounts, including general ledger, AR/AP, bank reconciliation, and journal entries for a variety of client industries.
  2. Prepare monthly and annual financial reports in compliance with accounting standards (e.g. MFRS).
  3. Assist in preparing and reviewing tax computations for individuals, partnerships, and companies.
  4. Manage tax filing and submission (Form BE, B, C, CP204, CP204A, etc.) to ensure compliance with LHDN regulations.
  5. Support tax planning activities and provide recommendations to minimize tax liabilities.
  6. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and government authorities when necessary.
  7. Maintain proper documentation and records for all financial and tax matters.
  8. Assist in handling SST submissions and related documentation (if applicable).
  9. Support ad hoc assignments or financial analysis as required by management.
Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CAT, LCCI, CPA).
  • Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in accounting, audit, or tax-related roles.
  • Strong understanding of Malaysian tax laws and accounting standards (MFRS).
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g. SQL, Autocount, Xero, or QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
