Responsibilities

A. Sales & Marketing

  • Grow target accounts and build a strong and sustainable sales pipeline.
  • Qualify customer database and maintain accurate CRM records.
  • Identify new business opportunities by establishing rapport, understanding customer needs, and scheduling regular sales visits.
  • Support the Team Leader and Head of Division in marketing campaigns, lead generation, and pipeline management.
  • Deliver high-quality, value-driven solutions to prospects and existing customers.
  • Monitor competitive activity and leverage market insights to strengthen brand presence.

B. Technical Advisory & Solution Advocacy

  • Drive the technical evaluation process together with the technical support team.
  • Act as a key technical advisor and product advocate for METTLER TOLEDO analytical instruments.
  • Communicate regulatory and application requirements clearly, demonstrating expertise and market leadership.
  • Represent METTLER TOLEDO at customer events, conferences, seminars, and training sessions.
  • Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to customer personnel.
  • Conduct effective negotiations to secure win-win agreements.

C. Service Standards & Customer Relationship Management

  • Recommend improvements through cost–benefit analysis of customer environments, equipment, processes, and applications.
  • Prepare cost estimates and customer documentation.
  • Demonstrate clear value by explaining operational improvements and cost reductions.
  • Maintain timely and accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Science, preferably Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields from a reputable university
  • 3–5 years' experience in sales and/or laboratory roles
  • Preferably with laboratory instrumentation or technical sales experience
  • Understanding of sales & distribution and intermediate project management
  • Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Highly self-motivated, results-driven, energetic, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
