West Borneo Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Safety Supervisor to join our team in Murum, Sarawak. As a Site Safety Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our construction projects. This full-time position is based in Murum, Sarawak.

What you'll be doing

  • Implement and enforce Safety Rules, Procedures and site instructions.
  • Implement and enforce of the Emergency Response Plan.
  • Inspect and rectifying any unsafe conditions at the construction site
  • Conduct Safety training
  • Conduct Safety promotions and campaigns.
  • Conduct safety Inspection and Audits
  • Assist in incident investigation.
  • Enforce compliance with requirements of regulatory and contractual HSSE requirements.
  • Perform the duty Safety Supervisor as per FMA 1967, Regulation 25(4).
  • Checking of sub-contractors' work to ensure compliance with the Act and the Regulations made thereunder are complied.

What we're looking for

  • Registered with DOSH as Site Safety Supervisor as per requirement in FMA 1967, Building Operation and Works of Engineering Construction (Safety) regulation 1986, Regulation 25 and possess at least a valid yellow book recognised by DOSH.
  • Passes the examination conducted by NIOSH or institute accredited by DOSH.
  • Preferable with a Diploma in OSH with further training and qualifications in HSSE Management
  • At least 3 years relevant experience in construction Occupational Safety and Health
