About the Role:

As a Payroll Intern, you will be supporting the payroll department in ensuring accurate processing and recording of the company's payroll, provide timely and accurate financial information, and participate in data entry and reconciliation of payroll information. This role will assist you in gaining insightful experience into the payroll process and its importance in business operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with consolidate payroll data for weekly/bi-weekly/monthly basis for payroll processing.
  • Verify employee data for accuracy and make necessary updates.
  • Help in answering employee questions and concerns regarding payroll matters.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports for management eg: Overtime report
  • Protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Support the payroll team in the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Basic understanding of payroll processes and laws (preferred but not required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel .(vlookup/ Pivot table)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Eagerness to learn and work as part of a team.
