You will gain hands-on experience supporting daily procurement and operations tasks. This internship provides valuable exposure to supply chain and purchasing functions in a manufacturing environment.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and update Item Price Book and Delivery Cost records accurately on a daily basis to ensure up-to-date pricing and logistics data.
  • Perform Sales Order data entry for all company branches, including East Malaysia, ensuring accuracy and timely updates in the system.
  • Generate and verify Purchase Orders, coordinating with relevant departments for approval and processing.
  • Monitor and update Open Orders across all company entities, ensuring smooth workflow and follow-ups.
  • Handle Delivery Order (D/O) processing and filing, maintaining organized and retrievable documentation.
  • Conduct Transporter Invoice verification and update Consignment Note files to ensure proper billing and delivery tracking.
  • Support warehouse operations through physical tyre checks three times a week, verifying stock condition and accuracy after morning briefings.
  • Collaborate with supervisors for data validation, order accuracy, and process improvements.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, data management, and coordination skills in a fast-paced administrative environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Operation/Procurement or any related fields
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Good in communication skills Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin (Proficient in Mandarin is a bonus to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients).
  • Willing to learn, proactive, and driven to improve.
  • Positive attitude, high energy, and responsible.
