ABOUT YOUR ROLE

As an integral member of the IT FX/ MFG4.0 Solution Portfolio team, the candidate needs to apply a high level of business systems analysis expertise in the Manufactory area. The candidate should have working knowledge on a manufacturing environment. Besides having extensive knowledge of Manufactory domain, Manufactory Execution System Production Scheduling/ Internet Of Things digital solutions, also need process/ digital solution Understanding with Supply Chain/ costing domains such as Order Management, Inventory, Warehouse, Shipping, Transportation, Work in Process, Bills of Materials, and Purchasing, Standard costing would be an advantage. The candidate would lead analysis for conversion of existing legacy data, lead regression testing, and provide analyses and specifications for development work for any new or changed system requirements, to train, implement, and support business processes. Documents business policies, practices and procedures to meet company standards and user needs. Leverages existing system's standard functionality to implement efficient and consistent Avery Dennison Global processes and procedures. Brings a level of functional and technical knowledge of Manufactory Execution System/ Advance Production Scheduling Digital Solutions.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

• Provides Leadership and support for Apparel MES/APS global solution design & implementation/ rollout project execution from Business Process & Digital solution perspective.

• Utilize business analysis, data mapping and data validation to assist the development of coding specifications.

• Manages the execution of testing for assigned deliverables; identify and document test defects, document quality issues and communicate defects to assure resolution.

• Prepares test and training plans. Develops training materials and delivers formal training for each new site being brought on-line with the system in Avery Dennison's Solution Group Division.

• Develops and prepares training materials and best of class procedures for Manufactory & constraint planning including day to day transactions, operation analysts. Delivers formal training to end users who are changing processes in an existing system.

• Monitors project dates and meets individual deliverables as well as support other team members.

• Escalates issues to management for support and/or guidance.

• Translate business objectives into requirements and functional specifications, supporting document creation and automation efforts.

• Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate with clients, lead key requirement workshops, document and understand requirements.

• Strong competence in developing presentations required (Google Docs, Presentations, and sheets. Strong Competence of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)) is ok as we can train on Google.

• Partner with IT/Vendor resources to review specifications and coordinate approvals.

• Provide subject matter expertise, working to define business processes and effective solutions.

• Document business processes, work-flows and requirements as they relate to the problems being solved by the initiative.

• Analyze data extracts and complete data mapping.

• Support system coding and configuration changes for automated document production efforts.

• Manage defect resolution throughout the system development life cycle.

• Manage portfolio of projects end to end, ensuring all deliverables are met.

• Effectively leads change, working with key-stakeholders including management and end users to ensure involvement, participation, and encouragement of others ideas and contributions for effective teamwork and project completion.

• Participates and provides full and complete regression testing of system changes for patches and upgrades including working with Software Suppliers to diagnose and resolve problems with the MES system. In addition, tests and prepares new functionality as made available or as business requirements indicate. Ensures patches and upgrades are applied prior to production implementation.

• Provides support to end users for Supply Chain/ Manufactory modules and processes including interfacing with third party systems, like MES, Shipping.

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, or Advanced Degree.

• 8+ years experience in working on manufacturing/IT projects in the SCM Manufactory/ MES area. Strong knowledge in Digital Transformation Initiatives and System Architecture design between ERP/MES/APS/IOT. Candidate with less experience may considered as Business Analyst.

• Familiar with the global digital solution standardization & plant rollout model, great collaboration/ Teamwork with different cultures across the world.

• Good at English language (and obviously Chinese if located in China), highly effective communication and listening skills to grasp complex tasks and adapt communications to be most understandable for the users.

• Very logical thinker. Very organized and structured in methodology and work habits.

• Ability to see a need and provide a solution even if before being asked to provide a solution. Capable of performing analyst type tasks to understand and evaluate the business process/ requirement / change and define in detail the logical solution to the business need, using existing functionality or specifying upgrades to functionality to resolve business problems.

• Sensitivity and persuasiveness skills to help the users understand what they may need vs. what they request.

• Assertive leadership, with effective skills in gaining internal customers' - management and users' - cooperation and acceptance of changes.

• Training skills -- ability to organize, develop and deliver effective training using presentation, interaction and feedback. Prepare materials to facilitate hands-on learning.

• Strong creativity and troubleshooting skills required, with ability to logically isolate and resolve complex problems, whether business or system oriented.

• Willingness and ability to travel frequently domestic and international.

• Strong planning and scheduling and manufacturing focus to help deliver what our customers want and need. Supply Chain Planning/ Constrain Planning/Production Scheduling and manufacturing knowledge / background.

• Must possess a strong "sense of urgency" to get work done quickly and correctly.

• Independent workers - must be able to self-manage to a large part while planning and reporting task progress to supervisor and team.

• Apparel/ Printing industry manufactory experience and/or Oracle ERP (EBS/Fusion) is a strong plus.

• A big MES/ERP project with the same size of company would be a strong plus.
