Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety Site Supervisor (Yellow Book holder) to join our project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment, enforcing safety regulations, and maintaining compliance with occupational health and safety standards (ISO


Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Time Site Safety Supervision: Act as the appointed site safety supervisor for company projects. Oversee the implementation of safety working procedures and ensure compliance with safety regulations and relevant authorities.
  • Implementing Safety Policies: Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures in accordance with ISO Communicate these effectively to employees and subcontractors.
  • Risk Assessment & Hazard Identification: Conduct regular risk assessments, identify hazards, and work with project teams to implement preventive measures.
  • Training & Education: Provide safety inductions, toolbox talks, and specialized safety training to all site personnel.
  • Safety Inspections & Audits: Perform periodic safety inspections and audits to identify non-compliance issues, and ensure timely corrective actions are taken.
  • Incident Investigation & Reporting: Investigate accidents or near-miss incidents, determine root causes, prepare reports, and recommend preventive actions.
  • ISO 45001 Compliance: Manage and maintain the company's occupational health and safety management system. Coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Develop and update emergency response plans, conduct drills, and ensure readiness for emergencies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor safety performance, analyze trends, and implement improvements to enhance site safety culture.
  • Safety Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all safety equipment and PPE are adequate, properly maintained, and regularly inspected.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOE, and other statutory safety regulations.
  • General Support: Assist the Team Leader, Head of Department, and Management in day-to-day safety operations and other related tasks.

Requirements

  • Possess a valid Yellow Book (Site Safety Supervisor Certificate) registered with DOSH (JKKP).
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in construction or project site safety supervision.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA, ISO 45001, and other local safety regulations.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to travel or relocate based on project location.
