About the Job

Established in 1980, our client company is a Malaysian company that specializes in designing, researching, developing, manufacturing, and selling plastic and automotive interior parts. 

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to join our client team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting functions, leading a team of 4-5 accounts staff, and overseeing the financial operations of 2 entities. This role reports directly to the Group Accountant.

Working Schedule
Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
Additional Schedule: Half-day work on one (1) Saturday per month
Job Responsibilities

Full Set of Accounts:

Prepare and maintain the full set of accounts for two entities, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 4-5 accounts staff to achieve departmental goals.Monitor and review work to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

Audit and Tax Compliance:

Collaborate with external auditors and tax agents to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits and tax filings.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic decision-making.

System Knowledge:

Utilize SAP or similar systems for accounting functions (experience with SAP is an advantage).Ensure smooth integration of systems into daily operations.

Manufacturing Environment Expertise:

Apply accounting knowledge in a manufacturing context, preferably with experience in plastic injection molding.

Operational Efficiency:

Improve and maintain financial processes to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications & Experiences Needed

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a recognized professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA).Experience: Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge in plastic injection molding or SAP is an added advantage.
