Job Description

As a Procurement Manager at Tech-Store Malaysia, you will oversee and manage the entire procurement process for ICT and engineering projects. You'll ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services for projects such as LRT, RTS, SCADA, CMMS, and smart infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and execute procurement strategies for project materials, equipment, and subcontract works.
  • Review project requirements and support Project Managers and Presales during tender and execution stages.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors for best cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Prepare and review Purchase Orders (PO), Letter of Award (LOA), and Contract Agreements.
  • Maintain approved vendor database and assess vendor performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and ISO procedures.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Project, and Technical teams for cost control and budget tracking.
  • Manage and monitor project procurement schedules, delivery timelines, and progress claims.
  • Lead, guide, and mentor the procurement team for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in project-based procurement, ideally from ICT, engineering, or construction industries.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Familiar with tendering, vendor sourcing, and WIP/project cost control.
  • Knowledge in SCADA systems, cabling, automation, or engineering materials is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP/Procurement software.
