What you'll be doing:

  • Lead a portfolio of clients and assist in all aspects of company secretarial work, duties and ensuring compliance with the Companies Act 2016, other relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Update and maintain all statutory records and books including but not limited to compliance with Companies Act, 2016, other law and requirement.
  • Responsible for the preparation of documents such as resolutions, annual return, minutes of meetings and other corporate secretarial documents.
  • Assist in coordinating and arrange submission of documents to Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) including MyCOID submission.
  • To carry out any other ad-hoc duties as directed by the superior.

What we're looking for:

  • Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar administrative or secretarial role, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment.
  • Fresh graduates who are interested are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficient in written and spoken in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. We are seeking Chinese candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communication with clients.
  • Good working attitude and self-discipline
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of corporate governance and compliance requirements would be an advantage.
