Key Account Manager -SG
Key Responsibilities:
1. Account Management & Business Growth
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to maximize sales, profitability, and market share.
- Identify new business opportunities, including product expansion, promotions, and distribution improvements.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and provide actionable insights to drive revenue growth.
- Negotiate trade terms, contracts, and promotional agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
2. Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key channels, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders (buyers, merchandisers, marketing teams).
- Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) to ensure alignment with channels' requirements.
- Resolve any business issues (e.g., supply chain delays, claims, disputes) promptly and professionally.
3. Trade Marketing & Promotions
- Work closely with the Marketing team to develop and execute effective trade promotions, in-store activations, and merchandising strategies.
- Ensure compliance with Watsons' promotional guidelines and optimize shelf visibility for company products.
- Track and evaluate promotional performance, providing post-campaign analysis and recommendations.
4. Forecasting & Inventory Management
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure optimal stock levels, minimizing out-of-stock situations and excess inventory.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and demand planning inputs to support business objectives.
5. Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare regular sales reports, business reviews, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends, recommending strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. - Experience:
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in key account management, preferably in FMCG, health, or beauty industries.
- Proven track record of managing large retail accounts (experience with Watsons, Guardian, Sephora or similar chains is a plus).
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales data tools (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, Excel).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in English & Chinese.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Achievement of sales targets and market share growth.
- Successful execution of joint business plans (JBPs) with Watsons.
- Improvement in customer satisfaction and relationship strength.
- Effective management of trade spend and promotional ROI.
