About the Role

We are seeking a Medical Equipment Planner to join our growing healthcare consultancy team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing medical and non-medical equipment for world-class hospital and healthcare development projects — from design to installation and commissioning.

You'll work closely with designers, consultants, and healthcare professionals to ensure every piece of equipment meets clinical, technical, and functional standards.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and manage medical equipment planning across all project phases — from concept, design, and procurement to installation and testing.
  • Prepare detailed documentation including equipment schedules, cost estimates, and project budgets.
  • Collaborate with healthcare clients, architects, engineers, and suppliers to ensure optimal design and functionality.
  • Develop technical specifications and tender documents for medical and non-medical equipment.
  • Review project progress and coordinate with contractors for successful implementation.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of medical equipment and ensure all records are updated.
  • Support business development activities, proposals, and client presentations.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in healthcare facility planning or medical equipment consultancy.
  • Strong technical understanding of hospital workflows, clinical operations, and medical equipment functionality.
  • Excellent project coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Mandarin is a plus).
  • Independent, resourceful, and able to lead multidisciplinary coordination.
  • Willing to travel locally and internationally based on project needs.

Preferred Profile

  • Experience as a Senior Consultant or Principal Consultant in healthcare or hospital equipment planning.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities.
  • Familiar with healthcare design-build project environments.
