KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Agent Management & Market Development
- Identify, recruit, onboard, and manage local and international student recruitment agents, ensuring compliance with RUMC policies and quality standards.
- Build and maintain a structured agent database, including performance tracking, communication logs, and contractual documentation.
- Conduct regular engagement sessions, virtual or in-person catchups, and performance reviews to ensure target delivery.
- Provide agents with updated programme information, marketing materials, fee structures, and competitive positioning.
2. Partnership Building
- Develop and strengthen partnerships with colleges and university pathway partners in key local and international markets.
- Plan and execute strategic outreach initiatives to expand RUMC's international school network.
- Conduct presentations, workshops, and counselling sessions to increase brand visibility and pipeline
3. Event Participation & Outreach Activities
- Represent RUMC at education fairs, exhibitions, expos, roadshows, and community events.
- Coordinate event logistics, booth setup, marketing materials, and lead capture processes.
- Support agents during joint events to ensure consistent messaging and professional prospect handling.
4. Market Intelligence & Competitor Insights
- Monitor market trends, student mobility patterns, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Identify recruitment challenges and opportunities across different markets and recommend actionable strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on programme demand, scholarship trends, and market receptiveness.
5. Recruitment Operations Support
- Assist with lead management by capturing enquiries in the CRM, following up with prospects, coordinating counselling sessions, and ensuring a smooth handover to the admissions team
- Support potential students and parents with accurate programme information, application guidance, and documentation requirements.
- Conduct product training sessions for agents, counsellors, and internal teams
6. Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports covering agent performance, school outreach progress, event results, competitor movements, and market insights.
- Monitor and track KPIs, including lead generation, applications, conversions, activated school partnerships, and agent performance
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintain data hygiene to support audits and inform strategic decision-making
7. Customer Experience & Brand Representation
- Deliver exceptional customer service when engaging with students, parents, educators, and partners.
- Uphold RUMC's brand values through professional communication, accurate information sharing, and consistent follow-up.
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Marketing, Admissions, Academic Departments, and external partners to ensure alignment of recruitment strategies.
Kindly Note:
- Work schedule may extend beyond regular office hours (9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday) and may include some Saturdays, as required.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Education, or related field.
2. Experience
- Executive: 1–3 years in student recruitment, business development, education marketing, or agency management.
- Assistant Manager: 4–6 years of experience, including managing agents or partnerships across multiple markets.
3. Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
- Knowledge of local and international education markets
- Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities
- Strong analytical mindset for market insights and reporting
- Ability to work independently and travel frequently
- Comfortable with extended work hours during peak recruitment seasons
