Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Shah Alam for a Human Resources Executive. This role is pivotal in managing workforce planning, recruitment, compliance, and employee engagement across multiple project sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR practices within the construction industry and be comfortable navigating fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1) Workforce Planning & Deployment
- Collaborate with project managers to forecast manpower needs and source or suitable candidates
- Maintain updated records of site personnel and mobilization schedules
2) Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Manage HR records including contracts, leave, attendance, and disciplinary actions
3) Employee Relations & Engagement
- Address grievances and foster a positive work culture across diverse teams
- Organize welfare activities, recognition programs, and festive celebrations
4) Training & Development
- Arrange skill enhancement workshops
- Track training records and certifications for site personnel
5) HR Reporting & Support
- Prepare HR reports for management review
- Support payroll and claims processing in coordination with Finance
Qualifications
- Proven skills in HR Management, HR Operations, and general Human Resources (HR) practices
- Experience in organizing and implementing Training & Development initiatives
- Strong Communication skills to foster collaboration and effective engagement across teams
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
- Understanding of employment laws and regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Previous HR-related experience or certifications is an added advantage
