Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Shah Alam for a Human Resources Executive. This role is pivotal in managing workforce planning, recruitment, compliance, and employee engagement across multiple project sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR practices within the construction industry and be comfortable navigating fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

1) Workforce Planning & Deployment

  • Collaborate with project managers to forecast manpower needs and source or suitable candidates
  • Maintain updated records of site personnel and mobilization schedules

2) Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies
  • Manage HR records including contracts, leave, attendance, and disciplinary actions

3) Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Address grievances and foster a positive work culture across diverse teams
  • Organize welfare activities, recognition programs, and festive celebrations

4) Training & Development

  • Arrange skill enhancement workshops
  • Track training records and certifications for site personnel

5) HR Reporting & Support

  • Prepare HR reports for management review
  • Support payroll and claims processing in coordination with Finance

Qualifications

  • Proven skills in HR Management, HR Operations, and general Human Resources (HR) practices
  • Experience in organizing and implementing Training & Development initiatives
  • Strong Communication skills to foster collaboration and effective engagement across teams
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
  • Understanding of employment laws and regulations
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Previous HR-related experience or certifications is an added advantage
