We are looking for an ambitious, strategic, and entrepreneurial commercial leader to shape the future of Malaysia's Food Service landscape. This is not a sales role — this is a commercial leadership runway: a rare opportunity to build brands, create momentum, and influence an entire category for the next decade.

The ideal candidate is a builder, a driver, and someone who can command the room. You will define commercial direction, build teams, scale brands, and form national partnerships across cafés, restaurants, chains, and distributors.

Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute national commercial strategy for the Food Service business.
  • Identify growth opportunities, whitespace markets, and long-term category expansion opportunities.
  • Lead annual planning, forecasting, pricing strategy, and market prioritization.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across marketing, R&D, operations, and supply chain.

Business Growth & Market Penetration

  • Launch, scale, and grow brands within Malaysia's food service ecosystem.
  • Penetrate new channels and accelerate distribution through strategic partnerships.
  • Build momentum for key categories and ensure strong brand visibility in the market.
  • Lead commercial initiatives that deliver rapid, sustainable, and profitable growth.

Key Accounts & Distributor Management

  • Manage relationships with national Key Accounts: café chains, restaurant groups, QSRs, and major distributors.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, listings, and exclusive programs.
  • Optimize distributor performance through training, joint business planning, and category development.
  • Develop long-term partnerships with purchasing managers, chefs, baristas, and café owners.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing commercial team.
  • Set a culture of accountability, speed, and entrepreneurial execution.
  • Build capabilities in sales strategy, application knowledge, and market development.

Product & Application

  • Understand beverage and food application usage across cafes, FSRs, and chains.
  • Work with R&D and marketing to develop products suited for Malaysia's trends.
  • Identify opportunities to innovate and adapt products for specific segments.

RequirementsExperience

  • 7–15 years in Food Service, beverage, ingredient, or FMCG commercial roles.
  • Proven experience managing and growing commercial teams.
  • Has launched or scaled brands in Malaysia.
  • Strong relationships with key industry players: cafés, restaurants, chains, distributors.
  • National Key Account management experience is a must.
