Web3 Operations Officer

Role Overview:

The Operations Officer will take full responsibility for establishing, managing, and scaling Fableration's Malaysia operations. This includes setting up business infrastructure, overseeing finance and compliance, managing partners and vendors, and ensuring that every local initiative supports Fableration's brand growth and community engagement objectives.

This is a senior hands-on leadership role suited for someone with strong operational discipline, commercial acumen, and experience managing projects in creative, technology, or Web3-related environments.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Administration Management

• Establish and manage day-to-day operational systems, processes, and reporting structures for Fableration Malaysia.
• Oversee finance coordination, budgeting, procurement, and vendor management to ensure cost efficiency and accountability.
• Ensure all business activities comply with Malaysian laws, company policies, and international standards.

Brand & Project Execution

• Oversee the operational delivery of brand activations, partnership programmes, and community events.
• Collaborate with the Partnership Manager to plan and execute local initiatives on schedule and within budget.
• Monitor project performance, evaluate outcomes, and ensure alignment with Fableration's strategic goals.

Governance & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Malaysian legal and regulatory requirements.
• Provide management with data-driven insights and operational recommendations. Identify areas for improvement and propose systems to enhance productivity and brand visibility.
• Prepare monthly operational reports for management and provide data to support decision-making.

Community Engagement Support

• Co-ordination the event messaging delivery with Chief Community Officer Officer
• ⁠Preparing the weekly report - and supporting community engagement
• Developing a impactful roadmap of amplification events and assisting the team for their success eg World FAB Day
• Understanding and assisting in all aspects of the Community strategy and giving tactical assistance where needed.
• Coordinate internal workflows, task assignments, and resource allocation across departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities in English and Mandarin are required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in operations, project coordination, or business administration.
• Prior experience setting up or managing new operations in Malaysia is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Web3, fintech, or blockchain business models is preferred.
• Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Reliable, proactive, and able to operate independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4, RM6,000.00 per month
