Account Assistant

- Day to day accounting operation activities such as data entry into accounting system.
- Cash book maintenance and daily & monthly bank reconciliations, fixed assets register and etc.
- Prepare full set of accounts.
- Issue daily cash bills and monthly invoices.
- Prepare daily, weekly or monthly payment to suppliers, staff claim etc.
- Compile information for yearly audit and tax purposes.
- Assist in year-end closing and preparing the audit schedule where necessary.
- Filing and maintain accounting records.
- To perform general administration and ad-hoc duties assigned by management.
- Multitasking, resourceful and proactive with sense of urgency.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least LCCI / Professional Certificate / Diploma in Accounting, Finance or any related field.
- Preferably at least 2 years' relevant commercial experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadline and the flexibility to work on weekend/ public holiday when required.
- Mature, team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Good proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, other Microsoft programs, or SQL Accounting Software is an added advantage.
- Possess own transport.
