Job Responsibility

  • Lead, plan, and execute all project activities from award to completion, including procurement, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure all project milestones, technical requirements, and documentation are met.
  • Manage internal resources â engineering, drafting, fabrication, and site teams â to ensure coordinated execution.
  • Review technical drawings, M&E layouts, and construction details to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Monitor and control project schedules, budgets, and cash flows; prepare progress reports and variation claims when required.
  • Ensure project quality, safety, and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Coordinate factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and final handover documentation.
  • Lead weekly coordination meetings and issue minutes, risk registers, and project updates to management.
  • Support management in resolving technical or contractual issues that arise during execution.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelorâs Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering field.
  • Minimum 7â10 years of project management experience in construction, power systems, data centers, or M&E projects.
  • Proven experience managing containerized substations (E-Houses/PTUs) or equivalent modular or prefabricated projects is a strong advantage.
  • Proficient in Mandarin and English â required for dealing with Chinese clients, vendors, and documentation.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Able to interpret engineering drawings and coordinate cross-disciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, structural).
  • Knowledge of IEC, TNB, and local authority standards preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Project / iTaskX, AutoCAD / Revit understanding, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Willing to travel to site (domestic or regional) when required.
