About the role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Administrative Staff to join our property development and investment team. The role focuses on ensuring timely rental collection, maintaining inter-company financial records, and preparing complete monthly accounts for submission to external auditors. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle both bookkeeping and administrative functions independently.


Key Responsibilities
Rental Collection & Tenant Accounts
  • Monitor and follow up with tenants on monthly rental payments.
  • Issue official receipts for payments received.
  • Maintain accurate tenant ledgers and payment histories.
  • Prepare monthly rental collection reports and highlight overdue accounts to management.
Bookkeeping & Inter-Company Records
  • Record and reconcile inter-company balances, fund transfers, and reimbursements.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of all financial transactions.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and cash flow records.
  • Manage supporting documentation for all entries.
Preparation of Monthly Accounts
  • Compile and finalize monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Ensure all ledgers are closed and reconciled on a timely basis.
  • Prepare monthly accounting packages for review by management.
  • Submit finalized monthly books to external auditors for year-end and periodic audits.
Administrative Support
  • Maintain systematic filing (digital and physical) for receipts, invoices, and financial documents.
  • Assist with general office administration including correspondence and reporting.
  • Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, and banks as needed.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 2–3 years' experience in bookkeeping or accounting (property sector experience an advantage).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet monthly reporting deadlines.
  • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage)
