Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating high-quality training programs covering Microsoft technologies. This includes Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform, and related productivity tools. The role focuses on building digital capability, enhancing user adoption, and supporting organizational transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training Delivery
Deliver engaging and practical training sessions (classroom, virtual, blended) on:
- Microsoft Productivity & Collaboration
- Microsoft Security, Compliance & Identity (SCI)
- Cloud Security (Azure)
2. Digital Adoption & Security Awareness
- Support organisation-wide digital and security transformation initiatives.
- Conduct security awareness training, phishing simulation debriefs, and cyber hygiene workshops.
- Drive adoption of secure collaboration practices across departments.
- Promote compliance requirements (ISO, GDPR, PDPA, etc.) through security-by-design trainings
3. Content Development & Learning Design
- Develop, design, and deliver Microsoft training programs to learners across various departments and skill levels.
- Create realistic corporate use-cases and scenarios for productivity, collaboration, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and security features.
- Apply learning design frameworks such as ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy, KSA, and the Kirkpatrick Model to ensure effective training outcomes.
- Customize training content based on user maturity, job roles, business needs, and evolving Microsoft technologies.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and guidance to participants during hands-on Microsoft exercises and practical labs.
- Deliver awareness and adoption sessions on Microsoft security, compliance, identity, and best practices for secure collaboration.
- Stay updated on the latest Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform, and security advancements to continuously improve training relevance.
- Provide recommendations for enhancing the effectiveness of training programs and strategies.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to design and deliver effective training modules.
- Collaborate with external organizations and clients to develop custom training solutions.
Key Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
- Must be HRDC Certified and Accredited to deliver HRDC-claimable training in Malaysia.
- Proven experience delivering Microsoft or cybersecurity training in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of: Microsoft 365 productivity tools, Microsoft Security, Compliance & Identity, Endpoint management (Intune), Power Platform (advantage), Azure security fundamentals.
Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) – highly preferred
- Microsoft 365 Certified:
- Fundamentals (MS-900)
- Administrator or Security Administrator
- Microsoft Security certifications:
- SC-900 (Security, Compliance, Identity Fundamentals)
- SC-200 (Security Operations Analyst)
- SC-300 (Identity & Access Administrator)
- SC-400 (Information Protection Administrator)
- Azure security-related certifications (AZ-900, AZ-500)
- Cybersecurity or corporate training certifications (HRDC, CompTIA Security+, ISC2 CC)
