INTCO is a global leading manufacturer and provider of total solutions for renewable polystyrene (PS) foam plastics. In the past 17 years, we are committed to the efficient collection, high-tech regeneration, and green application of renewable polystyrene to high-tech polystyrene pellets and eco-friendly polystyrene molding for home decoration use.

With the world's leading automatic equipment and high technologies, INTCO collects, regenerates and reuses over 50,000 tons of renewable polystyrene foams every year from worldwide saving 2 million trees and 150,000 tons of oil a year. This innovation and concept of transforming the "White Pollutions" into high-tech pellets and fine wall decor products have been awarded by many national governments and worldwide environmental associations.

In the early of June 2017, INTCO decided to invest and established a PS recycling plant in Malaysia. With just a few months the factory begin it's operation during the end of March 2018 and currently having 12 production line with production capacity of 140 tons of plastic pellets a day. Besides continuous expansion of our polystyrene recycling business, we had also started the polyethylene terephthalate (PET) recycling project in Malaysia, setting up a new plant and diversifying our recycling capability.

Salary Range

RM4,000 - RM6,000

Working Hours

  • Mon to Fri: 8am - 5pm
  • Alternate Saturday: 8am - 2pm

Role Description

  • Guide and coach the personnel to identify waste, find improvements, and rationalize the quantity and quality of material usage by promoting application of lean production;
  • Monitor and assess the production performance indicators, and guide the personnel to improve if necessary;
  • Coach and mentor cross functional teams in using various techniques (such as 5S, visualization, TPM, etc.) on problem solving and process improvement projects to improve the operation management of the factory;
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement in processes or products, including trends in technology that could impact business models or product lines

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in implementing lean methodologies within manufacturing or operational environments.
  • Strong understanding of lean principles, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and data analysis capabilities.
  • Project management experience, including leading cross-functional teams.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Change management expertise to facilitate smooth transitions to lean processes.
  • Proficiency in using lean tools such as value stream mapping, 5S, Kanban, and Kaizen.
  • Knowledge of process improvement software and tools is a plus.
  • Certification in lean methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) is desirable.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Melayu, English, & Mandarin.
  • Candidates fluent in mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with mandarin speaking company.
