The role

We are seeking an experienced IT Operation Support professional to join the IT team at Servay Supermarket Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support and ensuring the smooth running of the company's IT systems and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

  1. Provide first-line technical support to employees, troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
  2. Monitor and maintain the company's IT systems, including servers, networks, and databases
  3. Assist with the implementation and maintenance of new IT solutions and technologies
  4. Collaborate with the IT team to develop and improve IT processes and procedures
  5. Provide training and guidance to users on the effective use of IT systems
  6. Maintain accurate documentation and records of IT-related activities and issues
  7. Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the IT department

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant degree or diploma in Information Technology or a related field
  2. At least 2 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role
  3. Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills in hardware, software, and network systems
  4. Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively assist users
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  6. Adaptable to changes in technology and a willingness to learn new skills
  7. Attention to detail and ability to document and maintain accurate records
