DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Halal dim sum dishes, ensuring compliance with halal standards.
- Assist in preparing local Malaysian/Asian dishes with authenticity and consistency.
- Support in baking bread, pastries, and desserts as per menu requirements.
- Ensure all food preparation meets hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
- Follow kitchen SOPs and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Open to learning and taking on new culinary responsibilities as required
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a professional kitchen setting.
- Knowledge of Halal food preparation standards.
- Able to cook and plate local dishes and assist with basic baking techniques.
- Willingness to work on rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
