About the role

As an Assistant Supervisor at JK KITCHEN HOUSEHOLD SDN BHD', you will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store in Kulim, Kedah. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership skills and contribute to the success of our thriving household goods business.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting the Store Manager in supervising and managing a team of retail assistants
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service and a positive shopping experience for all customers
  • Overseeing the efficient operation of the store, including stock management, merchandising and cash handling
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance store operations
  • Providing training and support to retail assistants to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Assisting with the preparation of sales reports and other administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • At least 1 years of experience in a retail or customer service environment, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in cash handling and inventory management
  • A positive, customer-focused attitude and a passion for providing exceptional service
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment, including evenings and weekends as required
