JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the industrialization of Color, Material, Finishing (CMF) for consumer/industrial product.
  • Perform industrialization of CMF from conceptual design/prototype to mass production.
  • Work with the R&D team and part suppliers throughout the product development cycle in a fast-paced environment.
  • Explore and develop cosmetic finishing processes with vendors.
  • Support mechanical product design in areas of plastic injection parts and sheet metal stamping parts.
  • Review and evaluate vendors for performance.
  • Lead project discussions as and when required.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Company.
  • Industrialization of Color, Material, Finishing (CMF) for consumer/industrial product. Work with customer/vendors to develop state of the art cosmetic finishes.

Job Related Skills * Pre-Requisites

  • Strong knowledge and experience in painting, Anodising, silk-printing, IMD, VM and other seconding processes preferred
  • Plastic/ Metal parts design background with good understanding of appearance/cosmetic requirement
  • Understanding of plastic Injection, metal die casting, metal stamping are added advantages.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools like Pro Engineer and Solid Designer

Education and Experience

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3~5 yrs. of CMF experience (Fresh Graduate may be considered)
  • Prefer Mechanical Design Engineers with 5~8 yrs of experience (especially working with Vendors)
  • May consider Quality Assurance background/ ME procurement background.
