Site Safety Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safety Compliance & Site Monitoring

Enforce and monitor compliance with company safety policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., DOSH, CIDB).

Conduct daily site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.

Deliver toolbox meetings and safety briefings to site personnel.

Monitor and ensure proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and near misses promptly.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of safety reports, inspections, and corrective actions.

Liaise with external safety officers, authorities, and relevant agencies as required.

2. Technical Site Support

Assist in setting out site levels, boundaries, and structural alignments in accordance with construction drawings.

Support the project team in verifying on-site measurements and construction layout.

Operate or assist with basic survey tools (e.g., measuring tape, auto level).

Identify and communicate any discrepancies between site works and approved plans.

Assist in preparing simple sketches, layout markings, and progress updates as needed.

Requirements:

Valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) Certification issued by CIDB Malaysia.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.

Basic understanding of site measurement and layout procedures.

Ability to interpret construction drawings and safety documentation.

Strong observational, communication, and reporting skills.

Proactive, responsible, and capable of working independently and within a team.

Experience using survey equipment (e.g., auto level, total station).

Registered Green Book holder or possession of other professional safety certifications.

Familiarity with ISO safety standards or implementation of site safety management systems.
