Senior Account Executive – Borneo Advance

Job Summary

Borneo Advance is seeking a dedicated Senior Account Executive to be a trusted partner in strengthening our financial operations. Your expertise will help us maintain compliance, support project growth, and ensure the company's long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the backbone of our financial records, ensuring ledgers and accounts remain accurate and reliable.
• Help us prepare timely financial statements that guide management decisions and meet statutory requirements.
• Take charge of accounts payable and receivable, keeping our transactions smooth and efficient.
• Safeguard our financial integrity by reconciling bank statements and monitoring balances.
• Work with us on budgets, forecasts, and financial planning to drive project and operational success.
• Ensure we stay compliant with Malaysian financial regulations, tax obligations, and statutory standards.
• Support our audit readiness by coordinating documentation and making sure reviews run seamlessly.
• Provide insights by analysing financial data, helping us identify risks, opportunities, and ways to improve efficiency.

Requirements

We're looking for someone who can be our trusted partner in finance. If you bring the following, we'd love to have you on board:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field — professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, etc.) are a plus.
• Proven experience in accounting or finance, ideally in a senior or executive role.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian financial regulations, tax requirements, and statutory compliance.
• Hands-on expertise with financial reporting, audits, and budgeting processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel to keep our records sharp and reliable.
• Analytical skills to help us see risks and opportunities clearly, and guide smarter decisions.
• Attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work closely with project and operations teams.
• A proactive mindset — someone who doesn't just manage numbers but helps us grow responsibly.
