Workplace Location: Permyjaya, Miri Sarawak

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day accounting and HR operations and duties.
  • Provide administrative support to both Accounting and Human Resources departments.
  • Compile and update employee records and financial documents (hard and soft copies).
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc.) and financial activities (invoices, payments, payroll data).
  • Coordinate HR and accounting projects, including meetings, training, audits, and surveys; take minutes and track action items.
  • Handle employee and vendor inquiries regarding HR policies, payroll, and finance-related issues.
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonuses, leaves, claims, etc.) and support accounts payable/receivable tasks.
  • Communicate with public services and external agencies as necessary for HR and accounting matters.
  • Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures related to employee and financial concerns.
  • Coordinate communication with job candidates, schedule interviews, and support recruitment accounting processes such as budgeting.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree (preferable) in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resource Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a combined accounting and HR role or related positions.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor legislation, and fundamental accounting principles.
  • Proficient in accounting software and HR management tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
