We are looking for a motivated Support Engineer to manage, monitor, maintain, and repair our computer systems, hardware, and peripheral devices.

In this role, you will serve as first-level technical support, managing the ticketing system to ensure timely issue resolution and excellent user experience. You will also be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, installing updates and patches, monitoring network and server performance, managing data security, and ensuring that our IT systems operate efficiently and reliably.

Support Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Act as first-level support for all technical issues and manage the IT ticketing system, ensuring incidents are logged, prioritized, and resolved efficiently.
  • Set up and install new hardware and software systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot computer, network, and peripheral issues.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and updates for hardware and software systems.
  • Identify and resolve network, connectivity, and server-related problems.
  • Upgrade firmware, software, and outdated hardware systems when necessary.
  • Monitor and maintain system and network security, ensuring timely installation of patches and updates.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users, resolving issues promptly.
  • Perform routine system tests, upgrades, and data backups.
  • Prepare technical reports and maintenance documentation.
  • Develop user documentation and provide training on new systems and tools.

Support Engineer Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a technical support, hardware technician, or similar IT role.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong understanding of networks, servers, and system maintenance.
  • Good knowledge of IT equipment, including laptops, servers, printers, routers, and commercial scanners.
  • Strong diagnostic, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements in IT hardware and software.
  • Ability to provide user support during site working hours.

Additional Information:

  • Training is provided.
  • Probation period: 3 months.
  • Preferably with own vehicle for travelling.
