About the role

As a Sales Engineer at PSI Pneumatic Control Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's sales growth and success. This full-time position is based on Penang Island, Penang, and requires a dynamic and customer-focused individual who can build strong relationships with clients and effectively market our range of innovative pneumatic control solutions.

What you'll be doing

  1. Actively engage with potential customers to understand their business needs and recommend suitable products and services
  2. Prepare detailed sales proposals and quotations tailored to customer requirements
  3. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our solutions
  4. Manage the sales pipeline, track customer interactions, and maintain accurate records
  5. Collaborate with the technical team to provide post-sales support and troubleshoot any customer issues
  6. Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand our customer base
  7. Attend industry events and stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activities

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a Diploma/associate's degree in a technical field combined with 3 years of directly related engineering experience will also be considered.
  2. Having sales experience in the pneumatic or industrial automation industry will be an added advantage.
  3. Demonstrated ability to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions
  4. Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with clients
  5. Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
  6. Willingness to travel within the region to meet with customers
