What you'll be doing?
  • Client Portfolio Management: Oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring their full set of accounts are managed efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Assurance: Review client accounts prepared by your team, maintaining high standards of accuracy within set timelines.
  • Strategic Resource Planning: Allocate jobs and plan resources strategically to optimize team performance and meet client needs.
  • Team Development: Coach and mentor staff, using performance management tools to enhance their competencies and foster professional growth.
  • Client Integration: Work closely with clients to address their accounting and tax issues, providing expert guidance and solutions.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in financial principles.
  • Proven Experience: At least 5 years of experience in financial reporting and accounting, showcasing your expertise and growth in the field.
  • Audit and Financial Acumen: A minimum of 5 years experience in audit, financial reporting, or analysis, reflecting your deep understanding of accounting practices.
  • Tax Expertise: At least 2 years of tax experience, enabling effective communication with stakeholders on complex tax matters.
  • Leadership Skills: A minimum of 2 years in managerial roles, such as Assistant Manager, specialist, or advisory positions, highlighting your ability to lead and inspire teams.
  • Analytical Prowess: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex financial challenges.
  • Multilingual Proficiency: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with proficiency in written and spoken Chinese to handle international client communications and documentation.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Professional Certifications: ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CA, or CTIM certifications are highly valued and will be considered a significant advantage.
