Role Overview
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health and sustainability of the company. This role ensures proper financial planning, reporting, cost control, and compliance with accounting standards. The Finance Manager will work closely with the management team to provide financial insights that support business growth and operational efficiency across outlets.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Strategy
- Develop and monitor financial strategies, annual budgets, and forecasts.
- Analyze financial performance, profitability, and variance against targets.
- Provide management with financial advice and insights to support decision-making.
Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely closing of accounts and accuracy of financial reports.
- Review and verify reconciliations (bank, supplier, intercompany, etc.).
Cash Flow & Cost Control
- Manage cash flow planning to ensure liquidity and operational continuity.
- Review and monitor outlet expenses, purchases, and supplier payments.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and compliance.
Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax laws, and statutory requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and government authorities.
- Maintain proper internal controls and financial documentation.
Team Management
- Lead and supervise the finance and accounts team.
- Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluation to subordinates.
- Collaborate with outlet managers and operations for financial efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent (professional certification preferred: ACCA, CPA, CIMA).
- Minimum
5–8 years
of experience in accounting/finance, with at least
3 years in a managerial role
, preferably in the
F&B or hospitality industry
. - Strong understanding of financial reporting, taxation, and audit processes.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, Autocount, or Xero).

Role Overview
The Accounts Assistant Manager supports the Finance Manager in overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and maintaining proper financial control across outlets. This role involves hands-on work in managing payables, receivables, and outlet financial records, while also assisting in audits and monthly closings.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Operations
- Handle and review daily accounting transactions including AP, AR, GL, and cash book entries.
- Ensure all outlet sales, petty cash, and claims are properly recorded and reconciled.
- Assist in monthly and yearly account closing.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare and review financial reports, statements, and supporting schedules.
- Support the Finance Manager in budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Assist in compiling management reports for HQ and outlet-level review.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all accounting activities comply with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for audits and tax submissions.
- Support in coordinating with auditors, tax agents, and external parties.
Operational Support
- Monitor outlet expenses and highlight discrepancies or irregularities.
- Work closely with outlet managers to ensure accurate submission of reports and claims.
- Assist in inventory and cost control initiatives.
Team Support & Supervision
- Supervise junior accounts staff in data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Provide guidance and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum
3–5 years
of accounting experience, preferably in the
F&B industry
. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (SQL, Autocount, or similar).
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under tight deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
